Earth
The future of Earth is, and will probably always, be in question. While you have
discovered, and developed reliable predictive and indicative techniques you
still don't know how to use them, nor do you trust them.
The big question in the early 21ST century is the immediate future. There are a
lot of things going on in the world that give rise to this question; the
economy, terrorism, unrest in the middle east, the questions around the 2012
events, etc.
Here's what I (Anthra) think:
The economy will be repaired, though, you will have issues for many years to
come. If you can get your leaders to open us relations with "off-worlders" the
economic issues will vanish rather quickly.
I have bad feelings about the mid east. Iran is developing nuclear technologies.
They say it is for peaceful purposes, and to be sure they haven't done anything
to indicate any other purpose, yet, the world is afraid. It is this fear that I
fear. At some point someone is going to "break" and bomb the bejeezus out of
Iran and start something that the rest of the world will have to finish.
The terrorists...will eventually go away. They will realize the futility of their
"mission" as the rest of the world makes true progress toward a civilized
wholeness.
2012; what can I say; this issue is wrapped in so much clutter that it is
difficult to see anything clearly. I seriously doubt that there will be any
world ending event or events. They may, however, be world changing. I feel that
there will be several events that will change the landscape of your planet, will
kill-off a noticeable percentage of your population, and will not spare any
segment of your world. A "major coastal event" is indicated for 2009 (as it
hasn't happened yet, I guess we will all see). I also "feel" this kind of event
in the near future; I'm feeling a "rock" falling to Earth and hitting somewhere
in the Atlantic (though to be honest...the recent crash of the Air France jet
liner could also fit my "vision" [06/05/2009]).
Notes: I wanted to put something in here about predictive and indicative
techniques. On the surface they can appear the same, and, indeed, seem to be
confused by many Humans.
Predictive technique: These are many and varied. They usually consist of little
more than a "feeling" or "vision" experienced by the "seer" or prophet. What
needs to be understood is that the "predictor" is just a person that likely does
not understand what they are "seeing" or "feeling". They try to express these
things, usually with mixed success. There is also the issue of whether a
prediction is real or not, some people can have these "feelings" and "visions"
and none of it may be real. Another thing about predictions is that when they
are real (this is rare), they are inviolate. In that a real prediction will
happen, and there are no actions that can prevent.
Indicative technique: These appear like predictions, but aren't. They include
such things as scanning or "decoding" collective consciousness; Web.Bot, bible
codes are two examples of these techniques. Indicative techniques can give just
that; indications of future events, and, through proper action those events can
be modified or prevented. These techniques suffer from some of the same faults
as predictive techniques, in that, those deciphering the scans, etc. of the
collective consciousness are greatly influenced by their own selves (their
thinking, hopes, fears, etc.).
Finally, indicative techniques are in fact reliable, and, should be employed by
all (though not for profit). You now have a very good, publically available,
collective consciousness...it's called the Internet.
